This shrine was built in 1947 to commemorate victims of World War II. It is dedicated to Jesus Christ whose figure stands on a massive plinth inside a semicircular niche. Inscription above Jesus’ head says: “I am the resurrection and the life. John XI, 25”. Below it, on the pedestal, there is a plaque which looks like an open book, with engraved words: “Murdered for Poland 1939-1944. Eternal rest” and a list of names of the victims.
