Haltdalen stavkirke is a church that originally comes from Haltdalen in the Holtalen borough. Nowadays, it is located in the Sverresborg museum in Trondheim. The church was probably built around 1170. The object presented in the museum is a rebuilt version of the two churches: from Alen and Haltdalen; the West wall and a portal come from an old church from Alen. It is a one-nave temple in an Eastern Scandinavian style and is the only example of such preserved up today.
