A wooden sculpture of St. John Nepomuk – the patron of drowning and an advocate during flood – stands on a concrete, stepped pedestal right next to a sea rescue station. The sculpture, which was made in 2007, could be seen on the eastern breakwater until 2010 (now there is a statue of the Ustka mermaid).
